PFAS in the environment – Energy – Environment – Infrastructure – May 2023

 

Alors que pendant plusieurs mois, des journalistes du « Forever Pollution Project » ont collecté et agrégé des milliers de données, afin d’établir la première carte de la contamination en Europe de ces substances extrêmement toxiques et persistantes, la pollution liée aux PFAS, reste méconnue jusqu’à récemment, mais ses conséquences commencent à se mesurer et à se traduire juridiquement.

Il convient donc de s’interroger sur les récentes évolutions du cadre juridique et réglementaire européen et français concernant les substances dites « PFAS », et de dresser un état des problèmes, et des solutions en développement, notamment s’agissant de la surveillance des PFAS dans les eaux souterraines en France ; mais avant tout, il convient d’expliquer à quoi renvoie cette notion de « polluant éternel », et quelles sont les solutions mises en œuvre ou envisagées en matière de pollution aux PFAS, en vertu de quel principe ?
