Paris, 27 June 2022. As part of its development, Jeantet announces the appointment of three senior lawyers as Counsel: Clarisse Moreno (White Collar Crime, Economic Law), Victoria Régis (Corporate, M&A, Private Equity) and Pierre Linais (Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation).

Clarisse Moreno is a member of the Paris and New York Bars and has a cross-disciplinary practice ranging from White Collar Crime to Commercial Litigation. With over ten years of experience, which began in a leading American law firm where she practiced mainly in the field of White Collar crime, she advises and assists companies and managers before civil, commercial, and criminal courts and in the context of criminal or administrative investigations.

Clarisse has represented numerous clients in criminal investigations of fraud, breach of trust, corruption, influence peddling, unlawful taking of interest, as well as in the criminal aspects of many other fields of law (labor, competition, consumer, banking, financial markets, international criminal law, new technologies). In addition, she developed an expertise in compliance and internal investigations (Sapin 2 Law).

She is also regularly involved in distribution litigation and arbitration (breach of contract, significant imbalance, commercial agency, unfair competition, pre-litigation seizures – Art. 145 of the French Code of Civil Procedure).

Victoria Régis is Franco-British and advises French and international clients, including public and private companies, investment funds and institutional investors, on M&A and private equity transactions in a broad range of sectors, including technology and life sciences.

Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Taxation (2010) and a Master’s degree in Business Law, Taxation and Accounting (2010) from the Université Aix- Marseille. She has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2014 and practiced in the M&A/Private Equity department of the Paris offices of two international law firms before joining Jeantet in January 2021, together with Stephen Walters, partner at Jeantet.

As a member of the litigation, arbitration and mediation department, Pierre Linais represents numerous French and foreign clients in pre-litigation and litigation matters, particularly in the banking, insurance, transport, construction and energy sectors.

His main areas of practice are commercial and corporate litigation, financial disputes and enforcement proceedings. He also has extensive experience in industrial claims and complex court-ordered appraisals (expertises judiciaires).

His practice is strongly international and extends to the United States, the United Kingdom and French-speaking Africa, where he has been involved in numerous disputes before civil, commercial and labour courts.

Member of the Paris bar since 2013, he holds an LLM in Comparative and International DisputeResolution from Queen Mary University of London.
